IZIDA, The Association for Protecting Mothers and Children is gathering people with or without various disabilities. Its headquarters are in Feketic and its work is spread throughout the district of Mali Idos. Among our members there are people who are physically or mentally handicapped, sightless, hearing-impaired and some other as well together with healthy ones.

The Association works in workshops. During them the members' communicative skills, manual skills are developed through the sense of a real community where they can experience tolerance, love and acceptance. This all happens without prejudice, with taking care of each other in order to make the days of disabled people happier.

Our aims are the following:
- Providing support and giving advice to mothers in danger and single mothers
- Gathering mothers and children in order to provide organized help to disabled children to make their socialization and everyday life easier
- Providing support to all members of the Association in order to use their rights-and certain benefits
- Following the legal acts ill order to use them for helping the Members
- Helping the disabled children in various ways: healing, rehabilitation, permanent accommodation, finding orthopedic devices, education, occupation and to involve them into all aspects of life according to their possibilities.
- Changing information and co-operation with similar organizations existing in the country and abroad
- Organizing various workshops
- Influencing the society's attitude towards disabled children, and initiating actions for a greater care about them and their families
